World Heart Day

Guardian Life is truly committed to looking after life. Every year since 2005 we’ve partnered with the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Barbados to stage an annual series of events in commemoration of World Heart Day. The aim is to increase public awareness of the threat of heart disease and stroke and the importance of a heart-healthy lifestyle.

Part of the initiative includes poster and essay competitions for primary school students. By focusing on youngsters, the Foundation hopes to inculcate in them the importance of good living and proper nutritional habits.
