Guardian Life and Guardian Gone Green

The Guardian Life Wildlife Trust Fund...

In 2010, Guardian Life launched its new Corporate Social Responsibility campaign aptly called Guardian Gone Green. Why green? Why not? This is our earth too and we must do our part to ensure that it is preserved for future generations. The Guardian Life Wildlife Trust Fund continues to do exceptional work through their flagship project, Pride in Pawi, a drive to save a rare bird endemic to our country. Recycling has become synonymous with the Guardian Way and as a corporate body we’ve engaged in several recycling projects from shredded paper and old newspapers to glass and plastic; from used batteries to empty toners and ink cartridges

In addition, we realise that Green is larger than we may think and our Guardian Gone Green campaign runs deeper than the environment. Under this umbrella, we will also be focusing on education, youth and sport and health and wellness. As such we’ve aligned our CSR initiatives with these areas by partnering with several organisations including The University of the West Indies, the Trinidad and Tobago Olympic Committee, United Way Trinidad & Tobago and the Basia Foundation.
