Anna Haynes Unit,

Last January Anna Haynes declared to her branch that 12 months hence, her Unit would emerge Unit of the Year 2005. She then set out to make it happen.

Anna, a Unit Manager for just six years but a 20 year life insurance veteran and leading Life Guardian, unashamedly describes herself as 'dogmatic' in pushing her team's effort. "Usually my team works at its own pace. This year, we met regularly to assess our performance, and in the last quarter we tightened it to weekly evaluations.

Fundumental to Anna's stratergy is the quality of people she recruits. She has a profile for her ideal agents, from which she does not stray. She looks for people who can self-manage, be self-motivated and adhere to Christian principles and good ethics. "Because of the fiduciary nature of our business, we seek to do right for all of the people, at all of the times. For this we covet the Lord's help and strength."
